The mission statement of Lansing Christian School is to train children, in cooperation with parents, in such a way that they, in the building of His Kingdom, can perform duties in this world to the glory of God, for their own well-being, and for the welfare of others.
Lansing Christian has served the greater Lansing community since 1907 by offering an educational program for students in grades Pre-K through 8. The Bible is at the center of all instruction and all teaching is done from a Christian perspective. The academic program at Lansing Christian meets all state requirements and is fully recognized. In addition to excellent academics, Lansing Christian seeks to provide an all-around development of young people patterned after what is recorded of Christ Himself in Luke 2:52.
Lansing Christian School was founded by parents who wanted a place for their children to learn and grow spiritually as well as academically. These parents sought a place that would supplement the home and the church. For over 100 years, Lansing Christian School has been that place for hundreds of families. Parents have entrusted LCS with the education of their children and they still do today.
