What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Learning the game of golf is secondary to the positive experiences found at the Fairway Foundation. The valuable opportunities and exposure kids have by participating in the Fairway Foundation opens their world to cultural diversity, spanning social and economic barriers, empowering them to transfer these experiences to other areas in their lives. Instructional Programs: Instructional Programs are divided into three levels - 1.Bronze Level: For the beginning player who comes to one clinic per week for 5 weeks. 2.Silver Level: Players advance to the Silver Level when they are able to pass a rules, etiquette and skills test. At the Silver Level, participants receive a set of clubs and bag, if needed, a golf shirt and hat. They receive instruction and play 9-18 holes three times per week. 3.Gold Level: Players get individual lessons and more rounds of golf, opportunity to play in junior golf tournaments and competitive events, and are mentors/leaders for younger Fairway Foundation participants. These three level of programming feed into the following components: Life Skills Curriculum; Careers on Course; Caddie Program; Celebrity Clinics; Just for Girls Clinics; After School & Summer Clinics; Play Together; Camp Fairway; Scholarships.
