Leadership
Ms. Nancy M Paris, MS, FACHE
Term:
Since
Sept
2005
Profile:
Mrs. Paris has significant experience leading, directing and creating community based healthcare programs in Georgia. She served as the Vice President and Interim President of the Georgia Cancer Coalition, President of Saint Joseph's Mercy Care Services, Vice President of Georgia Baptist Healthcare System, Vice President of the Visiting Nurse Health System, President of AID Atlanta and Director of Hospice Atlanta.
Leadership Statement:
It is simultaneously an honor and a challenge to provide leadership to Georgia CORE and our network of dedicated cancer professionals. We have made extraordinary strides in preventing, managing and even curing cancer in recent years but still this vexing disease kills far too many, far too young. My belief is that by working collaboratively -- across disciplines, geographic boundaries and institutions -- we will find new cures and treatments. And by supporting each other, sharing ideas and championing 'small wins' we will maintain the strength and dedication needed to control and conquer cancer.
