Mission Statement
OnBehalf.org aims to raise money, items and services for injured veterans from Iraq & Afghanistan, as well as for the families of those servicemen and women killed in combat.

Veteran founded in 2005, and recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code on March 7, 2006, OnBehalf.org is an all-volunteer, military nonprofit that looks to raise funds and services for wounded veterans from Iraq & Afghanistan, as well as the families of the fallen. Thanks to low administrative expenses and a pro bono team of advisors, over 90% of your contribution will reach injured veterans and military families. We also offer a warm, personal way to give something back: if you're an independent professional or small business owner, consider contributing your discounted or complimentary item or service to our Grateful Nation Network, in lieu of a cash donation. With our Network, donated items and services are matched with injured veterans and military families by OnBehalf.org's staff, and are exclusively for their use.

Thank you for supporting OnBehalf.org! Our mission is two-fold: in addition to providing direct financial assistance to those military families in need, we also look to sponsor tangible, relaxing quality of life activities for injured veterans and those mourning the loss of a loved one. Your contribution will give us the opportunity to do both. Often, veterans or their families may be financially secure, but may have trouble adjusting to their injuries or the death of a spouse or relative. In those circumstances, a day at a theme park or a family fishing trip—sponsored by generous and thoughtful American businesses—can offer a warm, personal touch that shows America’s military families that you genuinely care for their well being and recovery. And since our organization is run by volunteers, nearly 100% of your donation reaches these families (save neglible costs involving transactional fees and website maintenance). Thank you again for thinking of our men and women in uniform who’ve given so much for this country, as well as the trust you’ve placed in our organization. The Grateful Nation Network aims to connect injured veterans and the families of the fallen with services donated by business nationwide. The program is ongoing and primarily occurs online, minimizing costs. Website maintenance is the sole expenditure for this program.

Funding Needs
Because we're nearly 100% volunteer, our funding needs are modest. There are no salararies or no significant ongoing costs. Our expenses are limited to PayPal transaction fees (when donating via the Internet), neglible bank fees, and occasional website maintenance. Our low costs ensure more of our contributors donations reach these families.
Volunteer Needs
Traditional fundraisers are always welcomed, and volunteers for such a purpose are always needed. Our volunteers, known as "Ambassadors," have helped organize independent fundraisers nationwide, and have been instrumental in our success. If you'd like to organize an event in your area (carwash, road race, bake sale, etc...) please feel free to contact us at

Request for In-Kind Contributions
Our existing infrastructure allows for significant in-kind service contributions, which compromise a majority of our donations. If you are a business (or know of one), which wishes to contribute a complimentary or discounted service, please contact me at
mike@onbehalf.org. Given our organization isn't designed for the physical collection of physical goods or items for distribution to eligible veterans and their families, it focuses more on the collection of services by businesses willing to contribute their time (ie, construction help, financial services, therapeutic massage or spa treatment, guided hunting or fishing experiences, travel, time-shares, etc...)
