Jocelyn Almy-Testa has a Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Arts and Learning. Prior to coming to Extras for Creative Reuse, Ms. Almy-Testa Was the founder and director of The Little Gallery under the Stairs (TLGUTS), in Lynn, MA and Founder and Artistic Director for Arts After Hours, Lynn, MA. For many years she also worked as a media marketing consultant, teacher, and curator for Lynn Arts Inc. Prior to moving to Lynn, Ms. Almy-Testa started her career as an arts administrator in New Bedford, MA as co-owner of Silver Circle Center for Arts and Awareness, and worked as an assistant to the director of the New Bedford Art Museum. Ms. Almy-Testa currently serves as the Chairperson for the Lynn Cultural Council and also served on the Lynn Cultural District Advisory committee. Her work as Director of TLGUTS was included in a marketing piece for the economic revitalization of downtown Lynn by WGBH and she was also recently nominated for Business Woman of the Year by the Lynn Item. Mrs. Almy-Testa received her BFA in Photo Electronic Imagery from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and a certificate in Arts Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has received grants and fellowships for her arts activism and has a long history of supporting education and the arts in her community.

We distribute over one ton of materials every week to children and teachers in the Boston Public Schools, Boys and Girls Clubs, Headstart, Ymca, and other similar programs for children in the city of Boston.
