Impact Statement
Reach for College! students continue to enroll in college and persist in college at twice the rate of their peers from the same schools who were not part of the RFC program. 70% of RFC students enroll in college after high school graduation and 65% are staying in college. These college enrollment data are verified by the National Student Clearinghouse.
In the 2009-2010 school year, RFC worked with over 3,000 students in DC, NY and NJ. Our goal is to increase the number of schools and students we serve while maintaining the integrity, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the organization.
In 2010, RFC was honored with an Innovation Award from the College Board as "an exemplary initiative to get low-income students to and through college." And RFC also received a National Junior Tennis and Learning Award from the United States Tennis Association for being "an exemplary model for after-school programming."
