Impact Statement
Summer 2009 ETL was a grantee of ARRA funding under the NH Dept. of Education, and, for a first run program, gained an 83% success rate with our Summer Youth Employment Program, serving At Risk Youth. Student have accomplished, in 2010, an AmeriCorps Program: Job Club where-in they learned the skills they will need to seek and maintain employment. Cassie and Lindsey, our AmeriCorps Volunteers were wonderful! Students also went on camp overs, traveled to the White Mountains and Salem, MA, participated in our Exeter Group, our Friday Group, Summer Activities, and, presented their first ever Snow Ball! 2011 brought a Life Skills Trip to Old Quebec during Winter Carnival, workshops such as "Human Communications" "Rules-Social Mores", and, "So, I'm Going to be an Adult!" We have been very active throughout the year!

Chief Executive Profile:
After realizing the extreme need for transitional training opportunities in life and work skills that connect students with their communities and for young adults who have transitioned out of high school, Linda founded Ethel's Tree of Life in 2003. She has worked steadily with the organization to provide programming, skill building opportunities, and connection with community for ETL students.
CEO/Executive Director Statement:
Success is achieved in small steps, with students learning to connect with community, with each other, by learning communication skills, independent living skills, social skills, nutrition and cooking skills, financial planning and budgeting skills, and so much more.
