The organization addresses the breakdown in family structure and the decline in child well-being in America. IAV provides research, symposia, and publications on policies, issues, and needs which affect families in the US ($294,704). It also disseminates Institute activities and publications to policymakers, private sector leaders, the media, and the public through its publication Family Affairs ($11,730). One of IAVs recent accomplishments was the publication of "Marriage in America: A. Report to the Nation," by the Council on Families in America, an Institute project.
