Impact Statement
The Doe Fund has helped thousands of homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals attain permanent self-sufficiency through the paid work and occupational resources we offer. In addition to job development, we provide safe and comfortable hosuing and a suite of support services that offer everything from financial literacy courses to GED classes to anger management and life skills. Because of Ready, Willing & Able, the participants in our program have returned to their communities as contributing, tax-paying citizens and reunited with their families as responsible parents.
In addition, we keep more than 150 miles of city streets clean every day through our flagship Ready, Willing & Able program. RWA participants sweep and maintain streets and sidewalks in four of the five New York boroughs, making our city a cleaner, safer, and more humane place to live, work, and visit.

Funding Needs
The Doe Fund has worked hard to maintain varied revenue streams: we receive much of our funding from government grants at the federal, state and local level, and we also generate revenue through our street-cleaning services and other social-entrepreneurial contracts. Still, it is only with the private support of generous donors that we can continue offering a hand up to those who need is most.
Volunteer Needs
We appreciate the time and energy our volunteers donate to help the program participants of Ready, Willing & Able prepare for their lives after their time in RWA. By practicing job interviews, giving advice on resumes, and counseling them on answering tough questions about their work histories, volunteers help the homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals enrolled in RWA obtain that important building block for a better and brighter future: a job.
Request for In-Kind Contributions
We welcome donations of books and suits for the participants of Ready, Willing & Able. Suits and other interview-ready clothes can help them look and feel their best as they conduct job searches
