The Watermill Center offers the International Summer Program, a four week program during which up to 100 emerging artists from around the world are mentored by Robert Wilson and other established artists in theater, music, dance and visual arts. Since 2006, the Center has also offered Fall and Spring residencies for international artists to develop and workshop their own new projects in the the performing and visual arts. Watermill also offers public and education programs including open rehearsals, exhibitions, free performances, lectures, and family events such as Discover Watermill Day.
