AFB, founded in 1921, and the organization to which Helen Keller devoted her working life, is a national nonprofit whose programs and services work to meet the needs of today's growing blind and visually impaired population by advocating on behalf of laws and policies that support the aspirations of people with vision loss, developing and promoting universally accessible technology, providing leadership and training to organizations and professionals who serve people with vision loss, and providing specialized information to individuals with vision loss, their families, and caregivers.
