Funding Needs

LIFE operates in an exceedingly fiscally conservative and responsible manner. Our budget has grown to about $8000 annually to better serve our project needs.   Almost all budget needs are met through community sponsorship and student fundraising efforts.

Funding in support of our annual LIFE Fest conference in the amount of $5000 annually would enable us to keep admission costs to our current and very reasonable $10 per family.

Website costs have been minimal, but increasing our investment in our web based presence by $500 or more will enable us to add Capwiz legislative resources, as well as other features like podcasting.

Volunteer Needs

Volunteers are always welcome! We need volunteers for our:

  • Fundraising
  • Robotics program
  • Conference development and production
  • Liaisons at the state and community levels
  • Magazine production
  • Community outreach

Request for In-Kind Contributions

In-kind contributions of skills in :

  • fundraising,
  • youth mentoring in science, math and technology,
  • communications online and off.
