Susan Rodriguez has a Master's Degree in Social Work and is a licensed family therapist in the State of Wisconsin. She has been with Parents Plus for 8 years, serving the first three years as the Milwaukee and Southeast Region Director and the past five as Executive Director. Prior to her position with Parents Plus, Ms. Rodriguez directed a community initiative called Supporting Today's Parents. This home visitation program functioned to reduce child abuse and neglect in Milwaukee's urban community through parent education and support. Ms. Rodriguez currently serves on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's Title 1 Committee of Practitioners, the Superintendent's Parent Leadership Corps, and is the Wisconsin State Leader for Parents as Teachers.

Funding Needs

1)We need funds to expand our Parents Are Key home visitng program to serve more low income families.
2)In order to provide the depth of training, technical assistance and support needed to ensure model fidelity in the Parents as Teachers Home Visiting model, we need staff members who are able to provide site visits statewide.  We could use funding to support the PAT State Office.
