Mission Statement
The Foundation conducts direct mail campaigns,individual donor solicitations and corporate matching gift and estate outreach, creating and disseminating information about the diplomatic activities of the World Jewish Congress and other Jewish advocacy organizations that are committed to securing respect and justice for Jewish communities large and small worldwide as well as the State of Israel. Such organizations are politically non-partisan and represent the plurality of the Jewish people.

Herbert Juli brings more than twenty-seven years of fund raising successes to the World Jewish Congress Foundation. During a professional insurance career spanning more than twenty years, Mr. Juli was an active volunteer fund-raiser for several human rights organizations. He was the recipient - on eight separate occasions - of the National Association of Life Underwriters? National Quality Award; earned the esteemed Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania; and was a member of the prestigious President?s Cabinet of the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the U.S. Mr. Juli made his avocation his profession when he became Director of Development for the Dade Human Rights Foundation in Miami, Florida, assuming responsibilities for all major donors and corporate giving. Raised in New York City in a traditional Jewish home by parents who were holocaust survivors, Mr. Juli brings a life-long commitment to human rights and Judaism.

Program Description:
Diplomatic, Cultural, and Youth programs recruit, inspire and involve the next generation of Jewish leaders in the activities of the WJC, providing a platform for young professionals to address global issues.
International Affairs holds conferences and meetings with government leaders and policy experts regarding pressing diplomatic issues, including the Iranian threat, terrorism and the global rise in anti-Semitism.
Organizations and International Affairs provides representation for world Jewry in inter-governmental and non-governmental forums worldwide: United Nations; Organization of American States; European Union; and the Vatican among others.
Public Information and Engagement provides Jewish communities worldwide with resources in areas of concern and importance, including the plight of small Jewish communities, restitution of WW II-era plundered Jewish property, calling attention to the Iranian threat, and growing anti-Semitism.
