Mission Statement
The Lighthouse Community is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. Our online social platform allows clients to have a personal Web page that allows family, friends, co-workers, and even strangers to send messages of hope, offer practical services, and to make confidential tax-deductible donations directed to their loved-one or friend. We are then able to give tax-free benevolent gifts directly to the client. (please see IRS disclaimer on our website)

CEO/Executive Director Statement:
This project is personal. Very personal. The effects of Catastrophic Illnesses and Events touch all of us and I am no exception. These circumstances have impacted my family, friends, co-workers, and now more recently, even people who were once strangers. The needs I have experienced and those that I have witnessed have compelled me to enter into the journey we call The Lighthouse Community.
I believe when people come together as a community to offer tangible support to loved ones and friends struggling with the financial and emotional impact of health challenges - their burdens become more bearable and the healing power of hope grows within their hearts. We call this….The Mystery of Community.
I am passionate about the nature of The Lighthouse Community. It has been established to be inclusive without boundaries of any kind with respect to religion, business, and all other organizations. It is a tool, nothing more. Each user must give it meaning: A church can minister to people in a new way, a business can offer additional value to employees, and all organizations can better serve members.
I hope you will take a few minutes to learn how The Lighthouse Community can help you and the people you know. Please consider joining me in this great adventure of love and community with one another.
