Impact Summary from the Nonprofit
Global Goods Partners creates markets for products crafted by community
based organizations in Asia, Africa and the Americas. Since 2005, GGP
has purchased more than $350,000 of products from our overseas partners and
has provided them technical assistance and grants valued at more than
$250,000. In the next three years, GGP projects that its product
purchases will increase to $650,000 with technical assistance and
grants rising to $350,000. By opening new, sustainable markets for
handcrafted products, hundreds of women around the world are earning an
income--often for the first time--supporting their families and
contributing to positive social change within their communities.

Leadership Statement:
Global Goods Partners (GGP) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic security, education and health care for themselves and their families. Employing the model of Fair Trade as the engine of change, GGP supports women-led community based organizations in marginalized regions in Asia, Africa and the Americas by providing grants and technical assistance, and securing access to markets in the US for the handcrafted products they produce. GGP promotes social responsibility and conscious consumerism by providing extensive online information about its partners, their products and the countries where they work. GGP’s popular fundraising program promotes fair trade products to raise money for schools and nonprofit organizations as an alternative to selling less environmentally and socially conscious products.
