Funding Needs

Our overall budget is approximately $300,000 for the year (2011).  We host two major fundraisers which net approximately $80,000, and several smaller fundraisers.  The balance of our income is from individual donations, grants, corporate donations and program fees.  (We charge a registration fee of $20 per sport/per season, however, the fee is waived for athletes unable to pay.)

Volunteer Needs

As our program grows, the need for more volunteer coaches grows.  We need individuals who will commit to 2-3 hours per week for a sports season to take on the coaching duties for a team or individual sport.  We offer sports sites throughout San Diego County and have a real need for volunteers from the north, east and south county areas.

Request for In-Kind Contributions

We rely on inkind donations, primarily from local service clubs, to provide lunches for our competitions or special events.  We would welcome the donation of newer computers (1-2), a digital projector, new or gently used sports equipment or items appropriate for small raffles or nicer items appropriate for silent auction at one of our fund raisers.
