CEO/Executive Director Statement:

Jewish Family & Children's Service continues to see a dramatic increase in the number of families seeking help.  Our agency has become one of the most respected local community resources because of our reputation for putting people first and responding to family needs with competance and compassion.  As people desperately search for direction and personal stability in these difficult times, they turn in steadily increasing numbers to JFCS because they know the strnegth of our commitment to helping them navigate from their troubles today to a different tomorrow.
Who is the typical JFCS client?  It is the professional father who cannot find work; the frail elderly couple dealing with deteriorating health and worried about their dwindling financial resources; the working single parent overwhelmed by life stressors and a contentious divorce; and most of all, peopel who each one of us knows.  JFCS clients are your neighbors and your child's classmate;  you see them everyday at the grocery store, in the gym, in your congregation and in your community.  When you support JFCS you are offering each of htem a lifeline--something to hold onto in these troubled times.
