Mission Statement
CVIM is a community based, volunteer nonprofit organization providing primary medical and dental care to low income, uninsured working people in Chester County enabling them to continue to be contributing members of the community.

Impact Statement
CVIM patients make at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. As a privately funded clinic, a small core staff and over 200 licensed volunteer healthcare professionals and lay volunteer work together as a team to deliver vital services. Our goal is to keep working adults healthy and productive at work and to reduce inappropriate use of local hosptial emergency rooms. Additionally, our dental professionals work to keep children free of pain and thriving in school.

Chief Executive Profile:
Prior to taking the CVIM position Maureen served as Senior Director of Emergency Services of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross. Prior to joining the American Red Cross, Maureen served as Assistant Hospital Administrator at Mercy Community Hospital, Mercy Health System in Havertown for 12 years. She has also served as a case manager in orthopedics and neuron-surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital and as a social worker in the Inpatient Psychiatric Division of Sacred Heart Hospital. She received the American Red Cross Spirit of Excellence Management Award in 2003 and the National Association of Social Workers, Pennsylvania Division Social Worker of the Year in 2006.
Maureen holds a masters degree in Social Work from Rutgers State University and completed her undergraduate work at Pennsylvania State University.
