We have helped thousands of men and women stay off the streets and out of jail, and hundreds of families reunite.  Palladia is a guide for finding meaning and purpose in recovery.  We empower individuals to become active, productive members of the community.  Palladia has been assisting New Yorkers in need for over 40 years and is one of New York City's largest social service agencies.

Program Description:

Palladia currently serves approximately 1,600 persons per day in a total of 31 programs. Our programs include: two intensive residential substance abuse treatment programs; four outpatient and transitional treatment programs; twelve supportive housing programs; two domestic violence shelters; three homeless shelter; one HIV case management programs; one alternative to incarceration program; and six special projects.

 

Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Programs: Starhill and The Albert and Mildred Dreitzer Women and Children's Treatment Center Outpatient and Transitional Treatment Programs: The Comprehensive Treatment Institute (CTI) Bronx and CTI Harlem, The Continuing Care Treatment (CCT) Program, and Esperanza Supportive Housing: Fox Point, Flora Vista, Chelsea Court, Stratford House, Jerome Court, Hill House, Dreitzer House, Cedar Tremont House, Frequent User Service Enhancement Scattered-Site Housing (FUSE), Family United Supportive Housing (FUSH), Breakthrough Transitional Housing Program (BTHP), and the HUD Scattered-Site Housing Program. Domestic Violence and Shelter Services: Athena House and Aegis; the Willow Avenue Shelter, the 126th Street Shelter and the 135th Street Shelter. HIV Services Unit: The Rikers Island Transitional Program. Alternative to Incarceration Program: The Parole Transition Program (PTP). Special Projects: The Administration for Children's Services (ACS) Clinical Consultation Program (CCP) including The ACS/CASAC Pilot, The HomeBase Homeless Prevention Community Resource Center, the Responsible Father’s Program, the TANF Families Project; the Probation Violation Residential Center (PVRC), and The Palladia Men's Initiative (PMI).

Program Long-Term Success:

Palladia was awarded three New York/New York III awards in the past year. The first is a three-year $1.2 million contract for our Frequent User Service Enhancement (FUSE) program, a scattered-site transitional supportive housing for individuals who are frequent users of the jail and shelter system from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) The second award is a three-year $1.9 million contract for Fox Point, a congregate supportive housing program for chronically homeless individuals and families. The third is an annual contract for $400,000 from the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) for our Breakthrough Transitional Housing Program. Fox Point and Breakthrough are programs that will start this coming year.
