The 100 Club of Arizona offers three different types of benefits to public safety officers and firefighters in the state of Arizona. When a public safety officer or firefighter is killed in the line of duty, the 100 Club provides a $15,000 check to the family which is delivered within 24 to 48 hours. A $5,000 check is provided to the families of active public safety officers and firefighters who are killed while not in the line of duty.
The 100 Club also offers a benefit for officers or firefighters who are seriously injured in the line of duty. The officer or firefighter and their family receive a check for $1,500 for each 30 consecutive days the injury requires him/her to be off of work, up to $18,000 or one year.
All of these benefits are gifts to the family and/or the public safety workers as a thank you for the sacrifice made to keep the community safe. There are no stipulations on how or what to use it for and no payback is required or expected.

Program Description:
It has been the tradition of the 100 Club of Arizona to not ask anything of our members beyond the payment of their annual dues. The yearly membership dues sustain the daily operations of the 100 Club of Arizona and provide for the financial assistance to the families of officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed. The 100 Club of Arizona still holds to this philosophy, however; members are provided opportunities to participate in events, donate services, and contribute financially to special needs.
There are many organizations and business in our community that wish to provide support and services when an officer or firefighter is seriously injured or killed. Some want to show their appreciation for the sacrifices made by the public safety community. The 100 Club of Arizona coordinates available resources with needs of public safety families through the Helping Emergency Response Officer and Survivors (H.E.R.O.S) and Special Needs programs.
