Program Success Examples:

Funding Needs

Women's and Men's Restoration Homes:  Provide housing, food, instruction and support for individuals who desire to end their struggles with issues such as addiction, homelessness, abuse and other destructive patterns.  Our need is for housing to start new homes and graduate homes as well as finances ($26,000) to operate the homes.

Food Bank: Provides groceries to 125 families twice/month.  Participants "shop" (at no cost) from available inventory so they can specifically meet their needs.  Our need is for a box truck to transport food and finances ($10,000) to operate the program.

Back-to-School Events: Free neighborhood block parties with games, prizes, food, entertainment, ending with the distribution of backpacks filled with school supplies. Helps over 1000 children annually in over 11 school districts. We need new school supplies and finances ($20,000) for event costs.

Give-A-Gift Holiday Outreach: Parents personally select gifts for each of their children and offer a small (10% of cost) donation.  In this way, they are not merely receiving charity, they are equipped as providers for their family.  This program reaches 1000 children annually.  Our need is for new gifts for all ages, particularly teens, and finances ($10,000) for event costs.
