Mission Statement
The Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger fights hunger in
Southeastern Pennsylvania through education, outreach, and advocacy.
Our education and advocacy programs aim to empower emergency food
providers, to inform concerned citizens, and to help shape public
policy. Through our outreach, we are also working to improve
participation in and access to the Food Stamp Program.

Outreach and applications are filled out at Philadelphia Health Centers and Careerlinks. Other outreach includes PGW mailings and SEPTA ads. The Coalition also runs a Food Stamp Hotline where people can call in and apply over the phone for benefits. We serve anyone who lives in Philadelphia so please ignore the populations served section.

Program Description:
The Walk Against Hunger brings people together to
raise
funds that assist struggling families in our region with
food.
The money raised at the Walk Against Hunger is distributed
to organizations throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and
Southern New Jersey that
provide food and other services to families and individuals.Again, the Walk serves anyone in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ who needs food so please ignore the target population listed.
