Program Description:
To all new businesses that want to join we email a kit that shows how and why to collect pet food for their community. Then we mail decals and promotional items. We recruit new sites daily across the country.
Program Long-Term Success:
Our goal is to have a least one collection site in every state and major city with high homelessness.
Program Short-Term Success:
25% of the collections sites have reported the amount of pet food and supplies that they have taken to shelters, food banks, pantries and soup kitchens.
Program Success Monitored by:
We request that the collection sites report to us quarterly.
Program Success Examples:
The Pet Chauffeur owner has collected over 29,000 pounds of pet food and supplies and drives it to a Dallas homeless shelter. She has 9 volunteers who help collect it from at least 10 locations in and around her community.

Program Description:
We award grants to veterinarians that will go to where the homeless congregate to adminster vaccines and minor medical care, including flea and tea treatments. We encourage spay/neuter when possible.
Program Long-Term Success:
We would like to be able to assist as many veterinarians that apply.
Program Short-Term Success:
$16,000 was awarded to veterinarians across the country.
Program Success Monitored by:
We require grantees to report back to us 120 days after their project is completed.

South Ocala Animal Clinic in FL. does weekly vaccines and works with Brothers Keeper and Interfaith. They have served over 200 companion pets of the homeless, poor and elderly.
