Impact Statement

All students deserve a chance toward successful futures in a global community. Art Studio aims to provide a WORLD class education to all students, using art as a tool to introduce a new realm of possibilities in educational, emotional, and career development while instilling a sense of personal responsibility and a love for lifelong learning.

Art Studio fosters creative thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit in at-risk youth by providing a safe space within the 33150 community for project based learning to take place. Using art as a tool for learning, and integrating creative-holistic arts with mentoring programs, our Art Studio programs are designed to enhance both short-term educational outcomes as well as prepare each child for long-term success in a challenging and changing world.

Program Description:

The Mission of Art Studio Inc. a 501c3 non-profit, is to empower young minds by providing a safe location where youth are inspired, empowered and guided by artists, teachers, professionals and mentors who support the student’s education and career development through the integration of creative holistic arts.
 
Art Studio has collaborated with experts in all areas of the creative and healing arts to offer well rounded programs that develop our youth in body, mind and soul. Our programs are co-created through the joined efforts, partnerships and affiliations of amazing organizations.  With a collaboration of art integrated education programs Art Studio creates options and relevancy by providing urban youth with a variety of creative tools for advancement out of poverty.
 
Art studio believes in project based learning through the integration of multiple art modalities. To best serve a students learning style we use a cross-over method of teaching that compliments each area of instruction. Art becomes a tool for learning and the development of creative thinking skills, which is a formula for success in all career paths and all aspects of life; body, mind & soul.

Funding Needs

Art Studio accepts financial and in-kind donations to nourish our youth mind, body, and soul.
 
$15 Provides nutritious snacks and water for an at-risk youth 
$25 Provides a creative-holistic art supply kit for an at-risk youth
$50 Sponsors an educational field trip including meals, transportation, and learning aids
  
$100 Sponsors an etiquette workshop including new clothes for an at-risk youth
$150 Sponsors a month of Art Studio prevention programs for one youth including student participation in a gallery show of their work
$1,200 Sponsors an at-risk youth for a year of prevention programs including field trips, etiquette workshops and gallery shows

Volunteer Needs

We hope you will join Art Studio in our mission to empower young minds and be a catalyst for change in our community. We understand you have a choice in where you volunteer your time.  Here at Art Studio, we have a variety of in-person and remote volunteering opportunities to meet your skills and interests, including: mentoring, visual documentation/editing, marketing & fundraising, administrative, and outreach / recruitment.
 
Art Studio also collaborates with schools, universities, businesses and organizations to provide customized service-learning, internships, group volunteering, and corporate/employee service experiences.
