Mission Statement
Chab Dai USA is committed to bringing an end to human trafficking and sexual exploitation in the United States, Cambodia, and across the globe through coalition building, advocacy and research.

Impact Statement
In addition to adhering to the same core values as other Chab Dai international offices, Chab Dai USA has three primary objectives.
- Learning Community. Chab Dai USA is committed to partnering with practitioners,
non-profits, student groups and government agencies; and assisting
organizations network with one another to improve capacity,
particularly according to international best practice models. We focus
on collaboration and community learning in order to build the technical
and personal skills of those who work against human trafficking and
commercial sexual exploitation.
- Advocacy & Awareness.
Chab Dai USA is committed to raising awareness, providing resources and
delivering training to the public, churches and other organizations
about addressing human trafficking, sexual exploitation and demand; and
advocating on behalf of victims and survivors in the United States,
Cambodia, and beyond. We are committed to fighting trafficking before
it begins in addition to seeing holistic transformation in the lives of
victims and survivors.
- Global Support. Chab Dai USA is committed to
supporting international projects undertaken by other international Chab Dai offices and partners working according to the same ethos.

Chief Executive Profile:
Joan has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from UCLA, an M.S.W. (non-licensed) from UCLA, and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Ca State University. She has served as a member of the Ca Task Force on the Status of Women & spent time in Central and South America doing research on the psychological affect of war-impacted countries on women and children. Prior to coming to Chab Dai, she worked for over 20 years within the public school system, as both a teacher and administrator.

Program Description:
OBJECTIVE To measure actions taken by the national anti-traffcking movement and inspire collaboration among stakeholders with the development of an online database of national organizations fighting modern day slavery.
The U.S. Registry Project will create a web space where advocates and stakeholders can find one another and share best practices. Currently we are in Phase 3 of five total phases. For more information, go to www.usa.chabdai.org.
Budget listed is for the entirety of Phase 3.
Program Long-Term Success:
The U.S. Registry Project will increase collaboration between anti-trafficking stakeholders, and allow stakeholders to share best practices.
Program Short-Term Success:
As we are currently in Phase 3, our short term successes have included developing a strong steering committee, and have developed the design of the database. We are currently piloting the web space before it is made available to the general public.
