Program Description:
Step It Up's Career Club is a year-round program that prepares teens and young adults ages 13-24 for career and college success. Youth are supported through assessment of personal talents and career interests; development of communication, teamwork, networking, and leadership skills; and creation of guidelines for efficient time and financial management.
Throughout these workshops, there is an emphasis on the development of effective relationship-building skills that youth will use the rest of their lives.

Program Description:
This program provides ongoing assistance to high school seniors and college students in the process of achieving their educational and career goals. Such assistance includes providing connections for tax return preparation, annual applications for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Oregon Student Assistance (OSA), new and existing scholarships, employment search, financial management, employment skills training, and more.
Program Long-Term Success:
- Enable students to have a safe adult in their lives who will encourage and advise them on how to succeed in college and achieve their career goals
- Connect students with resources that will empower them to continue to attend college and work in a living-wage occupation
- Provide students with a reliable staff person to contact for recommendations on any type of support they need.
