Program Long-Term Success:
<div>Since 85% of the current U.S. Congress were once members of a state legislature, we strive for those who have heard our Bible teachings and taken them to heart will be elected to the U.S. Congress. </div>
Program Short-Term Success:
<div>We have built our bible studies so that in the present legislative year almost 25% of the legilators in the 18 states attend our bible studies.</div>

<div>State directors of Capitol Commission are compiling data on who has attended their Bible studies, been counseled, or impacted by the ministry of Capitol Commission and where they are serving at the present time.</div>

Program Description:
<div>The state directors divide up national, federal, and state leaders into groups which are calendarized. These calendars are printed and distributed to people at the state capitols and to all who desire to do what we are directed to do in 1Tim2:1-4. Pray for all those in authority. This supplements <a href="http://www.pray1tim2.org">www.pray1tim2.org</a> and <a href="http://www.publicservantsprayer.org">www.publicservantsprayer.org</a> </div>

Pastors Commission to the Capitol

Program Description:
All pastors in a state and partners of Capitol Commission are invited to participate in a day of fellowship, challenge, prayer and meeting with their state legislators in the capitol. Guest Speakers from around the state or country are invited to speak at a luncheon or dinner that is held honoring God and blessing of the legislators by the pastors.
Program Long-Term Success:
<div>The support of the ministers of each state are vitality important in providing funding, spiritual support, and volunteers for the Capitol Commission ministry in each state. Without their involvement in our ministry in such activities as Pastors Commission to the Capitol our ministry cannot continue to operate.</div>

<div>The state directors are primarily responsible for monitoring the success of Pastors Commission to the Capitol but the staff and board of Capitol Commission are always interested in reviewing the results of these events.</div>

Program Description:
This is a program to get the nation praying for their public leaders as St. Paul reminded Christians to do in his first letter to his young coworker, Timothy. That is why the website is based on the scripture of 1Tim2:1-4. Visitors to this website may choose their U.S. State and on that state page they will see political leaders to pray for. They may also chose pull up all of the political leaders for that state and look at their picture and pray for them individually or collectively. While visiting their state page they may sign up to receive a weekly or monthly email reminding them of who to pray for that day.<br />
Program Long-Term Success:
<div>Prayer and Bible Study our foundational to our ministry. With a profound Biblical allegiance to the central distinguishing doctrines of Christianity, we understand the impact of these beliefs upon the political welfare of a nation. We take our example from William Wilberforce, a committed Christian and member of the British Parliament of the 18th Century. Conviction of these doctrines, he said, gives rise to true affections for spiritual things. It breaks the power of pride, greed and fear, and it transforms the morals of an entire nation. If true Christianity gains ground, "there is not estimating the effectos on public morals, and the consequent influence on our political welfare."</div>
<div>Like Wilberforce, we knowthat submission to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word will lead to the political well-bieng of our nation. </div>

<div>Legislators are telling us that they frequently receive emails from people telliing them that they are being prayed for because they were reminded by our website.</div>
Program Success Monitored by:
<div>One way is to monitor the number of people who sign up for daily and weekly emails. We also monitor through Google Analytics the number of people going to our website <a href="http://www.pray1tim2.org">www.pray1tim2.org</a>.</div>
