Program Description:
SCHOOL BASED PERSONAL SAFETY PROGRAM: Council staff provides a variety of Personal Safety programs that help educators, parents and students define and identify child abuse, peer abuse/bullying and other inappropriate behaviors, and teach strategies to address these problems in schools. SPEAKERS BUREAU: Council staff provides education, awareness and training services to professionals, organizations, schools and community groups. PROTECT & COMFORT INFANTS: This educational campaign provides educational information to target audiences in our community about the normalcy of infant crying, the dangers of shaking babies and offers practical suggestions about how to care for infants in ways that are proactive and nurturing.
