Mission Statement

Spirit Communications launched RadioU in 1996, and TVU Music Television in 2001. The company's 24/7 radio and television programming is available to radio stations, television stations, and cable systems nationwide; through Sky Angel's television system, and online at RADIOU.COM and TVULIVE.COM. The programming targets 12-24 year olds with a message of hope and encouragement through an eclectic mix of popular music. The music and programming promote anti-drug and anti-violence messages, while upholding positive lifestyle messages to its student-age audience.

We rely on volunteer support at our primary studio location near Columbus, Ohio. Volunteers may become on-air radio and television talent, behind the scenes support such as production assistants and camera operators, and even "street team"-type support for concerts, events, and festivals in cities where RadioU operates FM stations.
