Impact Summary from the Nonprofit
Families are stronger when they are together, and their presence helps a sick child heal faster and cope better. While we cannot make medicine taste better or take away painful treatments, we can help lessen the burden and ensure families have the stability and resources to get and keep their child healthy and happy. Our Ronald McDonald House is a home-away-from-home for families who need to stay close to their hospitalized child. Our Ronald McDonald Family Room offers a place for families to rest and regroup right at the hospital, close to their sick child. Our Red Treehouse program helps families and professionals connect to the resources they need to care for children with special needs or chronic illnesses. Between these three programs, RMH of Cleveland touched nearly 90,000 lives during 2012.
