Mission Statement

Honoring life with the love of Christ, Mission to Ukraine serves women experiencing crisis pregnancies and children with special needs, while influencing Ukrainian society on their behalf.

Impact Statement

Since 1997 through 2010

  • 461 babies have been saved from abortion.
  • 415 mothers and children have been supported through the LifeSavers program.
  • 29,344 students have attended abstinence and risky behaviors classes
  • 40 women and men have been trained to serve as crisis pregnancy counselors, abstinence teachers and cpc volunteers.
  • 288 families having a child with special needs have been helped through our Handfuls of Purpose program.
  • 2,200 children and their caretakers have attended summer camps.
  • over 850 Americans have visited the center and served in our summer camps program.
  • 743 patients have been treated by our annual Dental Missions Trip (2002-2010)
  • 86 orphaned boys ranging in ages 4 - 30 have enjoyed 95 therapy visits, their first ever Christmas party, and four day camps since March 2008.
  • 161 children and youth with special needs currently attended physical and art therapy classes.
  • 17 mothers and 17 children currently enjoy our "Mommy and Me" program for childen ages 3 - 5.
  • 22 containers have been shipped from the United States holding 88,553 pounds of clothing, 183,698 pounds of medical and rehab equipment and supplies, and one purple bus.
  • 21 full-time and 10 part-time Ukrainian staff served an average of 750 clients and patients every week during 2010.

Funding Needs

For 2011, major funding needs include:
  • Summer Camps for children with disabilities and their caretakers as well as children saved from abortion and their parent(s). Total budget for 2 8-day overnight camps and 2 3-day day camps is $32,000.
  • On-going Ukrainian staff salary support of $14,000 per month.
  • On-going US staff support of $3,500 per month.
  • Clinic medicines: $1,500 per month.
  • Benevolence Funding for medical care and medicines as needed.
