Program Description:

EFGC addresses the need for information, and education for people with epilepsy, their caregivers and medical professionals. EFGC provides counseling for people with epilepsyprovies education programs for individuals, schools, businesses and social organizations. EFGC has an employment program to help people with epilepsy prepare for and find jobs. EFGC advocates for people with epilepsy at a local, state and federal level.

We give support, inspiration, and hope to the 130,000 individuals with epilepsy in our 43-county region through an array of established programs and services including Care and Counseling, Parent Link, Friends Helping Friends, Advocacy Through Education, Support Group Network, Seizure Smart Diet, Shining Stars Social Club, Camp Blackhawk, Studio "E" Art Classes, Interpretations Writing Initiative, Community Epilepsy Clinics, Operation Outreach for Veterans, Ready, Set Work! Employment Program, and Continuing Frontline Research.
