Impact Statement
Loaves & Fishes recently opened its new facility and now offers an array of collaborative services know as "Pathways to Empowerment" that address the root causes of household food insecurity. With enhanced ability to provide more food to more people, and opportunites for financial, nutritional, literacy and health education, Loaves & Fishes is well positioned to serve the broader needs of the community.

Program Description:
Our program attempts to end the hunger crisis in our area by conducting four weekly on-site food distributions highlighted by special efforts to provide nutrition for infants and school-age children. We also conduct monthly deliveries of food to homebound elderly and disabled clients.
Program Long-Term Success:
Our long-term goal is to address our client's nutritional needs and help them find self-sufficiency in maintaining a healthy life by linking clients with agencies that may address the individual’s needs beyond food and nutrition. Our ultimate goal is to end hunger in our community.
Program Short-Term Success:
Our goal is to provide an adequate and dependable resource of food and essential personal care items to members of our community in need of our help.

Program success is monitored by the tracking of client data (such as pounds of food distributed and length of time receiving assistance) and quarterly satisfaction surveys
Program Success Examples:
98% of clients in our most recent survey reported that they are better able to pay other household expenses because they receive frood from Loaves & Fishes. 99% report they are extremely satisfied with the quality of food and service offered them at Loaves & Fishes.
Funding Needs
Your $5 donation enables us to purchase $50 worth of groceries.
We do not pay sales tax and, through our cooperative buying power,
we can turn a $1 donation into $10 worth of food.
Volunteer Needs
Loaves & Fishes depends on our committed volunteers to meet the Pantry's mission of ending hunger in our community. We need volunteers to receive, inspect, sort, stock, bag, distribute, and deliver food to our neighbors in need.
Request for In-Kind Contributions
Donations may be dropped off:
Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesdays 9-11 a.m.
Wednesdays 12-2 p.m.
Sundays 12-2 p.m.
