Chief Executive Profile:

Michael Banghart is a graduate of Michigan State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Sociology. He was awarded a masters degree in counseling from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in 2001. He is licensed in the state of Illinois as a Professional Counselor and is a certified cognitive behavioral therapist. Mr. Banghart has been working in social services since 1991, and has extensive experience working with the chronically mentally ill and homeless populations. He has published articles in professional journals such as Psychiatric Services, Community Mental Health Journal and the Journal of Primary Prevention, and in 2002 published a book chapter on service delivery with mentally ill substance abusers. He has numerous conference presentations at both local and national conferences on topics such as mental health, homelessness and multiple chemical sensitivities. Mr. Banghart is an active member of the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, and the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.
