AAFA-MI provides accurate and reliable information and programs to assist patients, families, friends, teachers, administrators, health care staff, and employers better understand the nature, scope, treatment, and course of asthma and allergies. We are committed to facilitating the best education, training and appropriate medical care for those affected by these chronic diseases.

Over 25 years experience in health care as an administrator and clinician (R.N., AE-C), which includes health promotions, disease management, administration, patient care, utilization management and quality assurance. Enthusiastic asthma & allergy advocate since 1999, as well as certified asthma educator, who promots proper management and best clinical practices to health care providers and the public at large.
CEO/Executive Director Statement:
As the Executive Director, I have the honor to ensure that our organization operates smoothly and efficiently, while following all guidelines and laws applicable to nonprofits. In addition to this, I am also a Registered Nurse and Certified Asthma Educator, so this means I not only run the organization, but, I am intimately involved in talking with and teaching people the best ways to manage asthma and allergies.
