Funding Needs

Insurance companies often do no cover the intensity of services a child needs. Charitable contributions by individuals, foundations and corporations help fill in the gap of what insurance does not provide.

Volunteer Needs

Washburn Center for Children welcomes volunteers for the two fundraising events it hosts each year: the Washburn Games and the Helping Hands for Kids Golf Tournament. Additional volunteers are needed for the annual holiday toy drive and the back-to-school drive.

Request for In-Kind Contributions

Washburn Center for Children accepts a wide range of in-kind donations, especially for its back-to-school and holiday toy drives.  In-kind donations are also used as auction items for the golf tournament or prizes for the Washburn Games.
