Mission Statement

The Cradle Foundation was created in 2003 to raise and manage funds in support of The Cradle’s exemplary programs and services. A national leader in adoption and child welfare, The Cradle’s mission is to benefit children… by providing education, guidance and lifelong support to create, sustain and preserve nurturing families. The Cradle has placed more than 15,000 children with loving families since 1923.

 

Gifts to The Cradle Foundation benefit the hundreds of children, birthparents, adoptive parents and adopted persons The Cradle serves each year. Donations support the skilled care of infants in The Cradle Nursery; compassionate, nonjudgmental counseling for women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy; high quality adoption education for prospective parents; and post-adoption services for all members of the adoption triad.
