Mission Statement
The Trenton Children’s Chorus gives young people the chance to sing a wide range of choral literature, especially those who might not otherwise have an opportunity to do so, in a caring, nurturing environment where they grow and learn about themselves, about other young people from different backgrounds, and about the world and their opportunities in it.

Impact Statement
Trenton Children's Chorus (TCC) is a unique after-school program that provides exceptional musical, academic, personal and social opportunities for 100 young people in kindergarten through 12th grade from Trenton, NJ and the surrounding communities. In a city with a dropout rate of 50%, of those students who have stayed in the program to the point of high school graduation, 100% have entered college.
TCC has performed at the United Nations, the National Cathedral, the Newark Peace Education Summit, for the swearing in of Rep. Rush Holt in Washington DC, the inauguration of NJ Governor Chris Christie, the dedication of the Mercer County 9/11 Memorial, as well as nursing homes, corporations, libraries and civic and private events.
September 2011 saw the launch of the TCC Learning Academy, a pilot program to intensively support choristers from 3rd through 12th grades who demonstrate both academic promise and current challenges, particularly centered on literacy and mathematics understanding.

CEO/Executive Director Statement:
Every child should have access to arts education. Children in under-resourced communities like Trenton are as talented and as eager to learn as children anywhere, but they need the chance and they need the tools. Trenton Children's Chorus gives them that chance and those tools. Music is our vehicle for excellence, and once a child experiences excellence, a transformation takes place that extends to their schoolwork and beyond. With your help, a child can experience the joy of creating beauty and be forever changed.
