Chief Executive Profile:
Susan Dollins was the founding director of one of the Allied Silver Spring Interfaith Services for Seniors Today (ASSISST) and was instrumental in pursueing the merger of ASSISST with its sister organization, Seniors' Intefaith Resource Center (SIRC). The merger of the two agencies to become The Senior Connection was finalized in January 2003.

I have a great deal of pride in being Executive Director of The Senior Connection for many reasons. Top among them are:

We need support from individuals, congregations, and the many corporations who benefit from the volunteer helping individuals get to their establishments.
Volunteer Needs
We need volunteers willing to provide one service to one person, once a week. Opportunities are flexible and simple to do. Every month 25 - 30 individuals are added to the list of people who need assistance. We continually need to recruit volunteers to keep pace with the demand for our services.
