<div>In the 2012-2013 concert season, Handel Choir performs "Messiah" and, in a springtime collaboration with University of Maryland Baltimore County's select choir, Camerata, the Brahms Requiem. Our midwinter concert includes the premiere of new work by American composer Donald McCullough, along with the music of Arvo Pärt and John Tavener, and folk songs of the British Isles.</div><div> </div><div>Handel Choir of Baltimore's 2011-2012 concert season included well-attended and -reviewed performances of Handel's "Messiah" (our 77th annual presentation) and Handel's secular oratorio "Semele," as well as "Anglo Meets Saxon," a concert presenting works by composers of both English and Saxon/German origin, in honor of Handel's own heritage. In combination with eight additional concerts in the community, Handel Choir sang for audiences of 4,900+ people.   </div>
