Chief Executive Profile:

Jerry is an ordained minister in association with the Evangelical Church Alliance; the founder, president and Director of Ministry of Christian Concourse; a member of Hampton Roads Activity Professionals Association; and pastor of Good Shepherd Community Chapel in Portsmouth, Va. He has a bachelors' degree in Religious Studies from St. Leo University. Of more importance, Jerry met the Lord at the age of six, committed his life to Jesus as Lord at the age of 29 and entered full-time ministry at the age of 42.

CEO/Executive Director Statement:

Our goal is to promote loving, relational and functional unity within the interdenominational Christian community. Every LTC facility that we have ever been in affords an interdenominational congregation. Therefore, by throwing ourselves wholeheartedly into participating in and facilitating ministry in this needy mission field, we necessarily meet our corporate goal. Also, for this same reason, on our website, we provide a free outlet for interdenominationl Christian poets and we promote a true-inductive, true-seminar-style small-group Bible study system, developed by us, called Chapter & Verse.

Annual Southeastern VA Convention for Long-Term-Care Christian Volunteers and Ministers

November 07, 2009

Christian Concourse hosted a convention for LTC Christian volunteers and ministers on Nov. 7, 2009. There were three 50 min. training sessions, time for small-group prayer, lunch and our Keynote speaker was meterologist and evangelist, Rev. Joh Cash. There was NO CHARGE for attending this event. A Day of Prayer for Long-Term Care

Christian Concourse sponsored and hosted a day of corporate prayer for concerns and the population of the long-term care arena on October 23, 2010.

We are well into this project of reading on camera the book, "With Christ in the School of Prayer" by Andrew Murray. We have discovered that some handicapped and elderly individuals are better able to follow the line of thought when someone watching someone read on video rather than just listening to an audio tape. This book is a well-known classic written in 1895. We have updated the Bible translations used in the text, and edited the text for clarity to the modern Christian.
