It is our mission to promote hyperhidrosis research, educate physicians in optimal diagnosis and care, raise awareness about the condition's emotional and economic impacts, and advocate for patient access to effective treatments. As part of our mission, we continuously build programs that connect those who suffer from hyperhidrosis with those who provide care, while increasing public understanding of this debilitating medical condition.

I have been blessed to have founded this organization that has helped so many. My Board of Directors are inspiring to me, as is each person with hyperhidrosis who continues to seek healing with strength and integrity. My staff and volunteers are invaluable to our mission, and are my true partners. I am very thankful, and still determined to keep at this for another ten years!

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit
Since our start in 2003, we have launched a continuously evolving, content-rich website visited by millions globally. We have dispatched bi-monthly newsletters to thousands of subscribers, and created the only online searchable global database of physicians familiar with hyperhidrosis diagnosis and treatment. Each year we have conducted accredited Continuing Medical Education in-depth sessions that provide the invaluable experience of hands-on training with the world's leaders in hyperhidrosis care. Hundreds of sufferers have been given free treatment as a result of our work. Millions have heard of hyperhidrosis because of our unwavering commitment to media outreach. Our Know Sweat in School program has reached over 10,000 schools and given school nurses throughout the US the knowledge and tools so they can help children they see who are in need. Thousands of sufferers have reached out to the International Hyperhidrosis Society individually and asked for help, support, and a listening ear. We have answered their call every time--with compassion and support. It is our honor to help and we are glad that we can.
