Mission Statement

Our organization’s mission is to enhance the well-being and independence of seniors. We do this through variety of ways. Norwood Crossing offers residential care, including Assisted Living, Sheltered Care, Skilled Nursing, Memory Support and Respite Care. A five-star facility, we have developed a reputation for excellence and person-centered care.

Norwood Seniors Network (NSN) was begun in 1994 with help from the Retirement Research Foundation. NSN provides a spectrum of services for seniors still living in the community, including in-home care giving, home delivered meals, transportation, outings and more.

The Norwood Park Senior Center, now two years old, offers five days a week of services and activities, including daily meals, exercise, book clubs, full-day outings, informational presentations and the services of a nurse and social worker.

The Norwood Life Care Foundation previously housed the Volunteer program; however, we have recently made the program independent. This new program, Nor-VOL-ution, Norwood’s Volunteer Revolution, now manages volunteer opportunities for the organization.
