CEO/Executive Director Statement:
Since 1957, we have partnered with local not for profit human services agencies providing support to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. Each year, thousands of contributors to our United Way make this possible. Colllier County is a wonderful place to live and is the most giving community I have ever experienced. If you would like to discuss our United Way please give me a call 239-261-7112.

Funding Needs
The United Way of Collier County, as with other human service non-profits and funders are in need of financial support to fund the 29 carefully vetted human service agencies that serve over 100,000 residents of our community, through over 300 programs. Many agencies look to United Way as they face on significant government funding cutbacks and drop is charitable giving. Unrestricted funding allows the local board and allocations panels to respond quickly to the changing needs in the community and to crisis situations.
The United Way of Collier County also seeks funding for its endowment, which has thus far been funded soley by bequests. The purpose for the endowment is to generate sufficients income to sustain the adminstrative and fundraising expenses in order that all funds raised from the community and corporate supportors will be used for the benefit of human services in collier County.
Volunteer Needs
Volunteers are needed to lead education and fund-faising in the residential communities of Collier County which has limited corporate options within which to pursue the traditional payroll deductions, thus making residential and individual support outside the workplace critical.
