We believe that the true stories of 'ordinary' people, as recorded by them or someone close to them, will provide valuable source material for future scholars as well as instructive and pleasurable reading for others. Our reason for being is to encourage such writers and to preserve their works for future generations.
We published a book, A CURIOSITY OF CATS, in 2001. This was a collection of 29 of the best stories we received from 153 writers who entered our cat story contest. We have plans to publish more such conventional books (if funds permit). In the often confusing world of internet publishing we offer writers a safe and free venue for sharing their work with the world.
We incorporated as a not for profit publisher in 1976. Our aim is to encourage and preserve limited market works, primarily biographies, autobiographies, and other nonfiction. We are neither a commercial publisher nor a 'Vanity Press." There are no charges for our services. Our web site has been active since 1997. We now display over 2000 stories from over 500 writers from around the world.
