Funding Needs

The Humane Society of Henderson County incurs significant expense each year for the spay/neuter of animals prior to adoption and general welfare of the animals. Restricted donations funds are available for Spay/Neuter Initiative, Animal Welfare Fund, General Fund, and Future Growth Funds.

Volunteer Needs

The Humane Society of Henderson County relies heavily on volunteers for many tasks. These include help directly within the shelter for the day-to-day animal care, volunteers for special events, public relations, and fundraising.

Request for In-Kind Contributions

We are in current need of a securable outdoor storage building at least 10'x12'. We also are in need of press printed materials such as brochures. We have the design work done, but need assistance with the cost of the actual printing.
