Mission Statement
Aidmatrix mission is to mobilize the right aid to the right people where and when it is needed. Working with nonprofit and corporate partners, it has touched over 65 million lives in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe since its inception as a foundation program. This international 501(c) (3) grew out of the need for technology solutions to meet the unique needs of the non-profit community. Initially based on commercially-proven supply chain software, Aidmatrix solutions have evolved to the point that the United States Chamber of Commerce called upon Aidmatrix to meet its product donation needs following Hurricane Katrina, as did other major organizations. Aidmatrix began work with Feeding America (aka America's Second Harvest) to systematically link up the U.S. food bank network. This allowed for great efficiencies and cost savings for this esteemed non-profit. Since the first project, Aidmatrix has grown into an international aid organization. Its business consulting services and development team have created numerous solutions for non-profits that help manage donations from vendors, to automating inventory management in supply warehouses, to the matching of available goods to relief agencies through bulletin board systems, to quick and easy Virtual Aid Drives that allow HR managers to conduct internet-based relief drives within their organizations - all with the goal of helping millions of people in need in the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Chief Executive
Governor Scott McCallum
Term:
Since
Jan
2005
Chief Executive Profile:
Governor Scott McCallum, President & CEO of The Aidmatrix Foundation might be described as the quintessential politician in many ways -- he believed public office would allow him to help many people, promote social change, economic growth international environmental policy, democratic institutions, and the free market. Then the trickle down impact 9/11 forced deep budget cuts on top of a billion dollar deficit inherited when he rose from the office of Lt. Governor to Governor in 2001. In Wisconsin, the law requires a balanced budget -- and it cost him reelection despite or maybe because of what the Wall Street Journal dubbed him -- "One of America's Political Tough Guys" for solving the deficit without raising taxes. He passed on an Ambassadorship in favor of leading the impressive and innovative start-up based in Dallas which he viewed as a forum to affect real change around the world. McCallum said, "Why would I want to be in politics when I can save the world?" Aidmatrix currently transacts a billion dollars in aid annually by matching corporate surplus with charities, presently handling 90% of charitable food in the US as well as disaster assistance, health care, and general humanitarian needs with operations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Governor McCallum served as Executive-in-Residence at Northwestern University, and is presently a Senior Fellow with the Discovery Institute in Seattle. He is a graduate of Macalester College where he played 3 varsity sports and is entered into the Athletic Hall of Fame. He went on to Johns Hopkins University to earn his Masters degree in International Studies with a core study of International Economics and American Foreign Policy.
