Program Description:
Save Our Shores hosts beach and river cleanups to help show the community their impact on the ocean. We give a presentation about plastic pollution and then send volunteers out to clean the beaches. We track the trash we find, which allows us to spot trends in trash and work on stopping it at its source. We host hundreds of cleanups a year, educating thousands of volunteers and picking up over 30,000 pounds of trash per year!

Program Description:
Save Our Shores gives interactive classroom presentations to youth K-12 in schools along the Monterey Bay. We offer fun hands-on experiences and sometimes a even a fieldtrip to a local beach for a beach activity and cleanup. We give hundreds of presentations every year educating thousands of children of all ages to be better stewards for our oceans.
