Dr. Elisa A. Nicholas, M.D., M.S.P.H.
CEO/Executive Director Statement:
TCC's exemplary and highly qualified staff has been led by Chief Executive Officer Elisa Nicholas MD, MSPH for over 23 years. Dr. Nicholas has a Master's of Science in Public Health and completed her residency in both pediatrics and preventative medicine. She is a nationally known leader in community health and health care delivery to underserved populations. She has advocated for health care to the underserved at a local, state and national level for the past 25 years. Under her leadership, TCC has moved beyond its walls to reach out to families, schools and the community. Dr. Nicholas is a founding member of the Long Beach Community Health Council (LBCHC) and the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC), and is an appointee by Supervisor Don Knabe to the Los Angeles County Children?s Planning Council. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and former Executive Committee Member of the AAP Section of Community Pediatrics.
